Rings true for every player ever. Its the 1 and done like Bball.

Of course there is a possible downside to playing. Injuries happen, play quality drops hurting his stock.

I'm saying if he performed as well as the year before he makes 20 mil more overall - and triples the signing bonus. Refering to Okudah contract the year prior.


I'll agree that Covid made it easier. I do wonder if players in upcoming years will have a good 2nd year and choose to opt out to prep for draft instead of playing outside of the pandemic. If this becomes a common trend like skipping bowl games.

Either way, its the player's choice and we all have to appreciate/respect that - doesn't mean we have to like/agree with it.
