I think Pete is a great coach, but I disagree with how he handles pitchers

For background, my daughter is a college bound pitcher. When we researched colleges, one of the things I looked at was how the coach used their pitchers. When we saw a huge discrepancy between the #1 and #2 pitchers, we would move on. My thinking: if my daughter ends up the #1 pitcher, I don't want her shoulder/arm killed. If she is the #2 or #3 pitcher, why even go there? She won't pitch. My daughter was on board with this thinking.

Now in VT case, I would add Ivy and Mac's innings together since they are kind of co second pitcher. So we basically have a 2 to 1 ration. Not the worst I have seen, but it would give me concern.

And I think we are seeing some of the drawbacks now of pitching Keely so much early on.

Sandercock is 18-1 and has pitched 104 innings. You think she might be a little fresher than Kelley right now?

Sure we might have lost a few games early on if Mac or Ivy had started, but we likely would be in a better place now.
