My sense is that an elite athlete with elite coverage skills is worthy of


a first round pick -- even if he's a mediocre tackler. The way the game is played now in the NFL really puts a premium on coverage. I could be wrong. Maybe most GMs would trade some of that athleticism and coverage ability for a more physical and consistent tackler -- but I sort of doubt it. I agree that the drop in his projected draft position is more about his health. Again, nothing more than a personal opinion.
