I don't disagree with any of that.


I still think an OC change around 2005 could've given VT a real chance to compete for a national title during the Tyrod years (assuming the right hire was made). Hindsight is 20/20 and it's easy for me to criticize now. I understand your point and agree that Frank had a clear vision of what he wanted and largely realized his vision. But what is Bryan Stinespring doing now? He's largely spent his career as a position coach at lower levels since being let go from VT. I think that is somewhat telling of his abilities as an OC.
