Why the renewed interest in this?


The whole thing was unfortunate and maybe could have been handled better (on both sides). Don't let some small town article with a personal grievance make you believe that there was any kind of backlash at scale. VT softball has continued to be able to recruit top talent, and a number of softball players who have played in Ms. Knight's travel program are either on Pete's radar or would like to be. Abi found a great school at BC and has an opportunity to help turn that program around once she returns to health. There's really no story here... all's good all the way around as far as I can tell.
