I do find it a bit hypocritical...


That City fans were up in arms about the Super League, when in reality they've already killed the EFL with their Middle Eastern oil money.

Not just the money, but the whole City Football Group. They just bought a Brazilian who is highly-touted, and they'll stick him on their French club that they own for a couple of years to increase his value. Then he'll either be ready to play for City, or he'll be sold for a big fat profit. That whole group can just hoard players and send them to France, New York or Italy on loan. It would be like the same baseball ownership group owning the Yankees, Pirates and Reds, with the best Pirates and Reds players being sent to the Yankees once they proved they were good enough.

It's wrecked the competitive balance of English football.
