OK, Hokies. It's a new day with new outcomes

Yes,the last 3 games stunk. No doubt about that.

But this VT team is not as bad as they appeared (or as bad as some of our posters think they are - good grief, Charlie Brown!).

But you can't give up 2 or 3 unearned runs to a good team and we did that - 3 times. And you have to hit - and we didn't do that consistently - 3 times.

I'm not sure how to explain it. It can't be that silly Shamrock on the jersey - or can it?

Notre Dame has now won 17 of the last 18 against the Hokies and the last 5 in a row. The Hokies last win was on 3/30/18 in a 2-1 win over the Irish and Alexis Holloway. Yes THAT Alexis Holloway.

She has now pitched 31.2 innings against the Hokies in her career and has gone 3-1 with a save. She has thrown 31.2 innings and given up 4 earned runs and struck out 22.

It's time for that crap to end. TODAY!
