To me it is currently the most significant thing happening with VT athletics right now, even overshadowing the Reach for Excellence announcement. I know I was excited about restarting donating to VT athletics after hearing the announcement, until the soccer issue came up. I doubt I am the only one, which means it will likely have a significant impact on the ability of the athletic dept to meet their stated goal. Like everything there are two sides to every story, but the silence from VT right now is deafening, and the current image for VT is not good. It is, of course, your decision on what to remove, but I think a more selective removal of portions of threads would be more appropriate. After all TSL is my primary source for VT Athletics info, but nothing about this is really being covered here. I tried to keep this reply as nonpolitical as possible.
