I totally can't figure out one of the notes about tiebreakers.

Sounds like sudden victory periods will go to two minutes, which seems good to me for the most part. (I'll probably change my mind about that after seeing the "sudden victory" period of a HWT match that ended regulation at 1-1.)

But then they talk about this:

"In addition to the time change, the committee also recommended that one of the wrestlers may be declared the winner after the completion of the first of two 30-second tiebreaker periods if either of the wrestlers has at least one second of advantage time."

I can't figure out what this means. If I recall correctly, riding time isn't a factor until the tiebreakers after the 2nd sudden victory, at which point 0:01 of RT is enough for the win. But I can't think of a case where it would make sense to declare a victor in tiebreakers without both periods. This sounds like a match might go like this:

- red goes down
- green rides him the whole 30 seconds
- match is still tied, but green has RT advantage
- GAME OVER, GREEN WINS (Huh?)

That doesn't seem right -- today, red could just return the favor by riding green out. And in the second set of tiebreakers where green could lock in the RT advantage by starting neutral, red would still have a shot at getting a takedown. Anyone know what this means?
