No doubt a Mockingbird. Is there a streetlight nearby! Funny story..I had

mockingbirds nesting in my yard. One day the fledglings were out of the nest trying to fly. I was working nearby in my garden so the Mom and Dad were chirping with a watchful eye. I had an English Bulldog... biggest couch potato EVER! She wandered into back yard and totally out of character she grabbed one of those baby birds in her mouth. BOTH of the parents immediately squawked and dive bombed the bull dog. She dropped that baby bird and RAN to the back door faster than I ever saw her move. She was shaking when I let her in. She would NOT go into the back yard for a week after that.
