Sunday baseball.........

Offense typically rules the day (for a lot of reasons). Lots of pressure to score a lot on Sunday. Looking at our season, we have only won one game on a Sunday only scoring 4 or less (BC 4-3 two weeks ago). If you look at the league overall, it mirrors that. Only one game, league wide, today had the winning team score less than 4. The other winning scores: 11, 11, 11, 10, and 8. Last week the winning Sunday scores were 12, 11, 11, 10, 7, 6 and again, one that won with 4 runs. Important to keep that pressure on......that is a mindset. We went flat as soon as we lost the lead. Credit GT pitching today for keeping them in the game. We actually had an advantage coming into the today pitching wise......

There is no doubt we had some poor outings on the mound from the pen. It is never good to single out college players in a public forum. Those that had a tough day know it, and will find solutions. No other way to put it. Think the staff would like to have one pitching decision back, but that is how it goes .......

Not sure we should expect to see our one starter back for a while.......not positive but could be a bit, like ACC tourney time. Just need to reestablish confidence with a few guys and get back in the groove. Baseball is a funny and cruel game. Szefc one of the best at not getting to high or low......Everyone has tough games left. We are no different. Everyone feels the stretch pressure in different forms, thus handles it differently. Stay the course, and try not to get caught up in second guessing every decision piece by piece.
