Discovered first hand why Costco's gas lines have been so long...


Bottom line: idiots!

Pulled into a line, and I was the 3rd car back from the pumps and settled in for a longer wait than usual. After ~10 minutes, the two cars at the pumps pulled away, and the next two cars in line took their place. I was the next in line. The first driver stepped out, swiped his cards, and started pumping gas before the 2nd drive even got out of her minivan. Heck, she was at the pumps for over 2 minutes before she even stepped out of her vehicle. The first car finished & drove off when she was still scratching her head. I pulled around and started pumping before she got the gas nozzle into her minivan. I was done and out of there, and the next car pulled around and started pumping gas before she was done. Basically, she took as long as 2.5 drivers to pump her gas.

That's why we can't have reasonable gas lines at Costco any more...lol
