There are always doubters, that's the easy path to take for many things.


People forget you said it if you are wrong and you can crow if you are right since most thought they would make it.

The problem in sports is injuries, they can torpedo a career in one play or one swing. It's a very high risk betting that an injury won't do that, because they happen all the time.
