Not really. For football 23 may be old, but not basketball. Look at all the


huge names in the NBA now - Durant, Harden, Irving, Lebron, Kawhi, etc, they are all almost 30 or older. A bunch of other stars are mid to late 20's. Sure there are some young studs like Luka and Zion under 25 but 30 years old can still be prime for basketball. Aluma staying one more year would not make him "old" for the NBA. Personally I expect he'll end up playing overseas and doing well but that's aside from the point.
