Like every other player of any year were granted an extra year. Seniors coming back for that extra year don’t count toward the scholarship numbers. Teams are allowed to fill their scholarships as if the players who had exhausted their eligibility were not coming back. So in this scenario teams could have over the 13 scholarship limit this next year. We are trying to build the best possible team for a run next season so we might as well beg Bede to come back and pick up two proven 6’6” inch wings that can drive and shoot the three from the portal. Amazing that we have all our significant players coming back next year, BUT we still have a new starter at PG in Murphy, a new starter at C in Durr and a significant number of minutes at the PF position will now come from moving Aluma from the 5 to the 4. This team is going to be a lot of fun to watch play.
