I don't understand the argument.


Frank Beamer never got caught cheating at Tech, but we don't say "Well, he never got caught cheating, but we can't overlook the fact that it might have happened even if we don't know about it."

For every coach who never got caught cheating, what's the point of saying "well, he still might have cheated."?

I guess I'm struggling to understand.
