While I don’t yet understand CMY X/Os intricacies, I can believe that they might be difficult to learn prima facie. What’s the level of risk with a portal or grad big who is not yet familiar with the CMY system?

Having another big coming to VT who previously played with Storm Murphy would be a no-brainer, but if there are existing concerns about needing to RS incoming recruits in order to expose them to the system before expecting to play a lot of minutes, would it be any different from bringing in a portal big who wants to play right away but doesn’t know the system?

Not the same thing, but if Cone going to a smaller school gives him more playing time, he might expect accelerated integration into another system, and that extra PT might help improve his game significantly, especially if he’s going to do anything to play professionally.

There was likely a more succinct way to ask my question, but I couldn’t get there. For BB knowledgeable fans, please feel free to clarify or restate. And if I’m misinterpreting previously discussed concerns, please correct. Thanks!
