I really think it starts on the defensive end. If Baylor is making shots


then they get to set their defense and keep Gonzaga out of transition. There's not a ton you can do about a team hitting over 50% from three other than to hope they cool off. So you focus on defensive rebounding so that when (hopefully) they start missing they aren't getting additional possessions. Offensively I think Gonzaga looked jittery. Yes Baylor plays good defense but there were several times where the Gonzaga player just lost control of the ball or dribble.

So better defense (particularly rebounding) and hope that the 3 point disparity starts to even out. Ideally you get it down to 5 or less by the halfway point and then it's anyone's game from there.
