Hiring to replace Roy will be much harder because of the "Carolina Way"

Roy Williams isn't the founder and matriarch of UNC basketball, but he sure as hell reinforced the idea that to win at Carolina you need to 100% be a part of the family. Any outsider that comes to Chapel Hill is going to have a very hard time getting off the ground.

Duke on the other hand was entirely built by K and he's all-in on the OAD team building strategy. Their fans/alumni don't have near the attachment to the school and image as they do to winning basketball games, so it'll be much easier for them to hire whoever can recruit the best players and it be acceptable.
