Edwards yielded only 1 earned run against Tech. I thought

she looked pretty good and was statistically Pitt's best pitcher.
As for the RPI, there are two MAAC teams in the top ten.
In the Louisville game, Rochard ran into a hot hitter in Hurst who had a career day. Next day Hurst flopped with errors.
Going forward, my concern isn't Keely unless she can't pitch for some reason. She's going to make a mistake now and then, like 2nd game Saturday and we could lose a game she pitches.
My concern is who our second pitcher will be and will she be good enough to beat a Duke or FSU.
Is it Osborne? I thought she did well against Louisville. What about Hewitt? She had some good outings last year.

Yeah I could see Tech in Ktown as the #1 seed and UT #2 seed -- VTsportscaster 03/30/2021 10:45AM
