The spring game is normally a big recruiting weekend with a chance to host

prospects and give them a glimpse of the facilities and a quasi game atmosphere in Lane Stadium. With the frozen period, the recruiting seeking is shot.
The team will get another practice or maybe a scrimmage without the expense of putting on the game.
