Not the point; VT FB is less and less connected with its fan base

It's not about not having a spring game for the fans. It's about 1) the fact a spring game would have been good for the players, and 2) the spring game could have had no fans and been streamed online, easily, as a way to connect with the fan base.

This is just the latest example of puzzling behavior from the program that is distancing fans every day. It's like they can't be bothered to even try.

I used to love VT football. I had a Hokie Room in our house. It's gone as of last year, and I hear almost nothing about the program and I don't care much. I come to TSL for the board discussion. As a comms guy, I am appalled professionally at what VT is doing (well, not doing).
