Hard to be ranked high in Rushing O AND Passing O in the same season


We were 6th in rushing offense last year so it is not hard to understand that passing yardage would be inversely affected as it is extremely rare to be a leader in both rushing and passing in the same season. Who was the last team to have Top 20 rushing and passing offensive numbers in the same season?

Also, I am not sure how an offensive coordinator is responsible for fumbles with his play calling.

FYI: Blackshear was the only runner in the top 10 rushers for VT with less than a 4.0 ypc last season.

The offense was fine last year. The statistics do not indicate the level of perfection that you obviously expect but our offense was nationally ranked in a lot of key categories and to pin it all on Herbert, a kid who didn't throw up those numbers in multiple seasons at Kansas, shows a high degree of bias and stupidity.
