This is quite an interesting matchup looking at the advanced metrics, these are all the rates so should adjust for tempo. Florida plays at a faster pace than VT but UNC they are not.

Shooting: Both teams have an eFG% of 52.5 and a 3p% of 35.7, VT however shoots the 75th most 3s while Florida sits at 261st. Florida is a much better FT shooting team and both teams get to the line a similar amount.

Passing:
- VT has an assist rate of 62, and on defense sits at 72nd
- Florida has an assist rate of 305, and on defense sits at 176

Rebounding:
- VT is the 37th best defensive rebounding team and 153rd best for OR
- Florida is the 292nd best defensive rebounding team and 84th on offense

Turnovers:
- VT is 88th in protecting the ball but 249th in forcing TOs
- Florida is 265th in protecting the ball but 81st in forcing TOs

Blocks:
- VT is number 41 in shot blocking
- Florida is top 15 in the nation in shot blocking

Both teams are better on defense than offense by the same proportion, Florida has played a tougher schedule so their metrics are higher but not by much.

I made a post earlier this week saying Florida basically plays AAU ball, and the metrics certainly point to that. They don't run any real offensive sets and pretty much depend on Tre Mann to make them go. Their bottom 20% assist and turnover rates point to that being true. They also don't really do a great job of preventing assists either, so we should be able to get what we want on offense.

The other big area they struggle with is defensive rebounding, hopefully Radford and Mutts know that as we've seen what they can do against teams that fall asleep on the defensive boards cough*wake*cough.
