Yeah, and if that first half hour is competitive...


...not too many are going to turn away at 12:45 to watch Toothpaste U vs the Razorbacks. Or Dragons/Illini at 1:15. If the underdogs in those two games fail to make it interesting, we will have the bulk of the audience for most of our game.

Compare with UVa, the defending-with-an-asterisk national champs. Their game is on against a Maryland/UConn game which could be competitive, and a Missouri/Oklahoma game which could be competitive. (And a 2/15 game with Iowa).

I'll bet there's more national eyeballs on our game than on UVa's, assuming ours stays reasonably close the whole way, even though theirs is in the evening on Saturday.
