Before the Selection Show I just wanted to post this

This team has exceeded expectations this year. No matter what seed we end up getting and who we play, we should be thankful and proud to be back in the NCAA Tournament. Even though I still firmly believe last year should have counted too. Anyway, the future for this team is improving each and every year. We are getting more and more talented players that are turning the culture around for this team in a positive way. If we can keep a team mostly together and stop losing multiple transfers every year, we can be a force not only in our conference but in the country. We need to keep finding players that are in it for the long run and dedicated to this team. Yes, some players will need to leave or transfer for the right reasons, but when teammates quit in the middle of the season that is a problem you don't want to have. I think COVID was used as an excuse for many of them this year. If you are going to transfer or leave wait until the season is over, otherwise you quit on your team. At least that is how I see it.

Amoore is going to be big for us over the next 3 or 4 years, she is really talented and is improving with experience.

I see a lot of potential in Gregg, she might end up taking a spot away from someone else. She is always willing to go after the boards and do the work a lot of players don't like to do.

Kitley is Kitley, I really don't need to say anything about her, the girl is a walking bucket.

Baines has great potential as well and will improve with more experience in our system.

C. King is a great 3 point shooter when she is hitting and also has potential to improve.

S. King is going to be great for us as well if she stays, she is really talented.

These are all players that will be coming back next year. Almost every player on our team is going to be at ACC level caliber, which we have never had in my opinion. Not only that but once they all gel as a team in a real full season without COVID restrictions and we have at least 2 years with all of these players together along with the incoming recruits, we are going to be one scary team. Just need to stick together and tune up some small things that are fixable. Brooks has done wonders for this program, I don't care what anyone says. I have not been this excited for the future of this team since the Bonnie era. So regardless if we lose in the first round, get a bad seed, or win a game in the NCAA Tournament, don't give up on this team, because you will regret it in the long run! Go Hokies!
