It was essentially a done deal....no matter how long we delay or drag out
the decision. There have been from the start 3 members that will ALWAYS vote to keep students at home and 3 that will vote to send them back. It's been that way from the start of the school year and no amount of data or discussion will change any of their minds. We have had/heard the same arguments from both sides for months. So there wasn't going to be some amazing surprise revelation that would sway any of them. There was one vote that could be swayed, but she's been on board with the return to school plan for a long time. That's why everyone knew what was going to happen. It was getting annoying with them saying we need more input from everyone. We just kept hearing the same thing over and over.
The schedule is already done. Each school had to make a schedule for all possibilities at the start of the school year (from 100% virtual to 100% in person).
