So, we are committed to winning compared to our in conference peers. Maybe not so much compared to the B1G, SEC elites and Texas /Oklahoma but we are committed where it counts.

We are not rich, and Covid hurt our department badly, because of this, we are not in a position to eat a big coaches and staff's buyout and pay for a whole new one and probably won't be for a few years.

Also, I think this all-Hokie defensive staff should get a chance to prove what they can do before we fire them. The recruiting is screwed because we get can't get players on campus so that they can feel what a great place it is and if we're lucky, we can start getting prospects on campus by the Summer. It's not fair to judge the new coaches given their current situation.

I really think Fuente and staff should be given another 2 or 3 years. At least until his contract expires. I would not extend his contract until it is guaranteed we want to keep him. F*ck that constantly giving your coach 4 years from the current year so you're always having to buyout a contract.
