The orange was way wrong.

I got up the morning of the 1995 Cincinnati game (the one we were shut out in) in Baltimore, and the Baltimore forecast was 70s and sunny. Pre-internet so no easy way to look up Blacksburg.

Got on the road at 5AM got to Blacksburg for the afternoon game and it was cold and drizzly, and I was way underdressed so I went into the team store under the SE stands and bought the jacket.

Despite the bad color, it served me well for a decade or so as my primary spring/fall jacket. But it's long gone now.
