without him, expectations are lower and they've been exceeding them

But I just think they're a better team without him. Offensive states aside they just didn't win when he got minutes. Duke was 5-8 with JJ playing (take out the warm-up games and they're 3-8), and 5-0 (all ACC games) when he recorded a DNP.
