As a recent alumni, I’d agree it was about time for Ned to finish up his VT tenure. But he did systematically elevate the program for over 20 years. Unfortunately Whit never supported the program until he brought a new staff in. Was the deal with Whit and most non-rev coaches that he did not hire.

With that being said, Sergio has quite a resume, and will keep attracting talent. Albert, one of the assistants, may be equally responsible for a lot of the recent success.

Also gonna be quite tough to pass Louisville women longterm. And UNC women for that matter. They were missing most of their studs last weekend due to covid, their new coach is gaining big momentum as well on the women’s side
