The ongoing saga is still ongoing and it's way beyond the lung cancer...


*He stayed at Abingdon most of last week being treated for the MRSA infection.
*It was decided to let a rehab center here in Smyth County to finish with treating the infection for 7 more days. Then the testing would begin on determining the extent of the lung cancer.
*Not a ½ hour from when he got to rehab he had to be rushed back to the ER in Marion with a GI Bleed...WTH!!!???
*The ER in Marion didn't know what was causing it and sent him back to Abingdon who in turn has sent him to the Johnson City Medical Center to see if ETSU's Quillen College of Medicine can figure it out.
*He's had 7 units of blood and has gone thru constant testing since he got there Monday night.
*I went down yesterday to see him but no sooner than I got there he was taken down for a MRI which I was told would be at least 2 hours so I came back home.
*My wife and her mom are down there today and hoping to talk to the doctor to get some insight on what is going on.
*My wife has her BSRN from ETSU and actually knows a few of the people down there so maybe she can get some answers.

My BiL just can't catch a break.
