Make all scholarships have a min 3 year period. The player can leave after a year, but then that team doesn't have a scholarship for 2 years. Coaches that abuse the process like Cal and Kr4hys=dahenski would have to start thinking about that when they sign kids like that.

If the player transfers, the 3 years go with them and the school they leave gets it back.
