Kids at 18 yrs old who've been told sports will be their way out, need the college structure more than most. A lot skirt by in academics and never develop those life skills before being thrown to the wolves in a professional environment. If people mattered, the system would make them go to school. Instead, money matters, and it leaves a lot of kids in its wake.
