Where did I say that VT should sponsor men's and women's ice hockey?

If you notice my other posts in the thread, then you will see VT is not in a financial position to sponsor the sport right now. Even if VT did receive enough private donations to fund the sports, it would probably still take VT 3-5 years to get all of its ducks in a row before the sport can even get off the ground.

Plus, I don't see anything wrong with bringing attention to any of VT's club sports. We don't know what the future holds for college athletics. There could come a day in our lifetime where schools, including VT, make the conscious decision to return college athletics to its roots. I am talking about a status similar to what existed in the late 1800s/early 1900s including the early years of the NCAA. You can call it a club status or put some other label on it. My point is that the current system is severely broken and something will have to give eventually. Once that something changes, then it could mean school are sponsoring more sports than they are now or the same number if you include all the club sports.
