Just checked and the link inside - I don't think ACC would consider just


adding a wrestling program. Any of the ACC schools may schedule those programs during the year as OOC. Not sure that any major conference either has all their schools competing in wrestling Title IX and all that good stuff about = scholarship. The ACC currently has 5 schools in top 25. Noted that there is exactly 1 program - Lehigh that doesn't come in as a D1 type program in sports like Football. And of the P65 only 2 are outside of it, those being Navy and No Iowa. So to me it doesn't make sense to add teams just to get more conference wrestling programs when you can schedule teams as OOC.
