3) their successful recruiting of good and better in-Commonwealth baseball players is already taking place and showing fruit. soon they’ll be bringing in our better and best in-state prospects every year. i say this because

i’ve had privilege of meeting and getting to know one of our now/graduated Hokies and four current players and their parents via the Peninsula Pilots (summer Coastal Plain League) team here in Hampton.
Two sets of parents independently told me of how their sons were recruited and had “gentleman’s agreement” verbal commitments as sophomore and freshman on same weekend. parents and sons all loved both AHC’s and Szefc. they were all in room when he made their offers “official” at same time. they said he has a natural, friendly personality; a great sense of humor; can relate well; makes good baseball sense; and is relaxed, conversational guy.

good people have already arrived. more better are on the way. good times are on the way. (we didn’t get to finish last season.)
