IMHO not plausible in these times of declining spectator interest, students

aren't as interested in the big game day experience. and with the Pandemic era, and athletic departments scraping by, doubt it very much. even if some big donor came along with arena $, the O&M costs long term would be something to consider to field the team. why is the club sport arrangement not satisfactory?
