Ultimately does that mean a Television becomes nothing more than a large
monitor? And a paid subscription is needed for every service desired by a household? If so, I can easily see the monthly subscription model costing the average house hold the same or more if they binge purchasing 6+ services. My experience to date with streaming services (Verizon offers) Disney, Hulu, ESPN+ with my wireless plan and then added a free month of YouTube TV. Enough content, sure. Of interest to me, questionable, but the biggest challenge I find is flipping stations/channels/content. It isn't very slick or easy to do quickly
