If you suck, COVID gives you an excuse to pack it up for the season.


Sad but true.

Got to remember this is a disease which has almost zero chance of killing, or even seriously harming a young healthy college athlete. Players have a much higher risk of dying from the common flu than COVID-19, and no program has ever shut down from a flu outbreak. They wait it out, then get back to business.

COVID-19 kills the old, and those with serious health issues. The flu kills everyone.
