the article was largely a waste of time and not sure what the current payout might be. What I believe is that Jim Phillips is infinitely much better suited than Swofford and his crony consultant to evaluate the current ACC contract, to have a good idea of where ND is at TV wise and what the landscape for TV in the Big Ten geographic footprint looks like. All this to say that if anybody can come up with a win/win for ND and the ACC, outside or inside a full conference membership scenario, Phillips is probably the guy. Based on reports on the guy I expect there to be a noticeable shift in culture, energy and thinking coming out of the ACC office under his leadership and I believe that will be a good thing.
