Don’t get me wrong, I hope all players work out. But focusing on 2nd tier VA players is not going to help VT compete with its aspirational peers.

The whole xx2VT thing is nonsense as well. Just get the best players you can at positions of need that fit your system. It doesn’t really matter where they come from. But you need to get them, so you have to balance the reality of the “farther away from Blacksburg”, the harder it gets as well.
