ESPN and fox knew there are only 2 big market conferences - big ten and sec . And they are not going to expand their footprint . Unless substantial increase in revenue

I would say acc big 12 and pac ten was next . Pac ten was first and they botch it and try going it along after wanting more than Espn and fox Iwata willing to give - espn and fox gave long term agreement . Look at them now

Big 12 has this thing called Texas- the Texas longhorn network and the rest . That’s not going to change

Here comes the acc- actually in regards to market was the less Product or offer except basketball . However acc went in and knew its weakness and strengths and max thar espn was willing to go ..the nd acc partnership was innovative and introduced a new revenue source nbc.

At the beginning acc was shakiest and now very stable. Yeah it’s not sec or big ten but it’s not pac ten and the big 12 with Texas .

Now it’s up to the acc members not to milk the acc network to fill in debt but increase investment in Athletics broaden sources for income and recruit harder ..
