Big ten has huge separation fees

When you join or member of the big ten, the big ten owns your property rights as a team. They then as part as huge revenue sharing, they return the money back to 1) conference operations, and then team expenses. Their exit fees, are simple. you must give them 3 years notice before you leave the conference, HOWEVER, the Big ten still owns the schools rights for at least seven years afterwards. Therefore, if for example, Nebraska moved to the Big 12, any revenue that Nebraska gets from the big 12 would go to the big 10 for the seven years. Maryland and Nebraska are in the the long term. Also, FYI Maryland took a huge loan from the big 10, for deficits incurred during the transition from the acc, they owe the big ten the money back as well as any separation back. They are gone.
