I'd argue it's more a case of seeing the entire picture. Too many people
seem to think that we fire Fuente and hire Next Coach X and everything is great. We go back to winning, recruiting magically gets better, etc. People like that are only seeing one part of the equation. That doesn't mean we can't win more (or less) with a different coach. It just means there are systemic issues within the program that either need to be addressed or our expectations need to be recalibrated. If we want to compete with the upper tier of college football then we have to expect to have similar money and resources. If we don't want to spend the money to do that then we need to change our expectations as far as competing with the upper tier (whether that's nationally or within our conference).
