I don't think anyone should be happy
Given the sentiment of dropping a coach means the program isn't on track.
The idea that this is the proper time to blow up the program seems like the absolute worst time to do it. Beyond the perception of dropping your coach and staff in a pandemic, you still have to rehire everything - and zero days to try and and build a recruting class. Given the finances, its not going to be some splash hire and assistants.
Even at 4-7 at the end of the season - it can totally get worse. I don't think some want to give enough credit to the devil you don't know, especially given the circumstances.
