Apocalypse Now was the most BS Vietnam movie I ever saw!

The world I entered was pretty accurately described in "Fields of Fire" by James Webb.. a 1966 Annapolis grad who later became Sec of the Navy for a short while. Not pretty and not for the general public I don't think. I didn't know him, but our paths crossed. All the places in his book were completely real and as he described them. His characters were fictional but typical.. and probably couldn't be understood by a typical civilian.
