Fuente has made plenty of mistakes here thank sunk him, but he is perfectly
capable of being a good coach elsewhere. He and his staff turned Memphis around from nothing to 10 wins. Every year here he knew his team well enough to play very well early. In his first year here we went from a bad 6-6 team that couldn't get 200 yards of offense on Pitt to a 10 win season. I think it is too toxic that it isn't going to happen here, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was successful elsewhere. Unfortunately, even after Fuente is gone, if we want to bring in a top tier head coach not only do we need to find 10 million to fire Fuente, we need to find 40-50 million to drop into facilities/staff.
