I don't see any of these issues as a common theme

That isn't seemingly addressed or unrelated to OC.

1) mentioned in a reply post (I think it was to you this morning on another thread) about the promising moves for staff geared towards in state recruiting - but given dead period will end up over a year, how do we expect them to start building back those bridges? Gotta have time to shake hands, kiss babies, etc.
2)The biggest case for this may be the time between play calls on late drives that need to move faster, thats seems on the OC, imo.
3)I wonder where this provable. Guys like Farley and Diablo were WR commits. If its based on star rating of recruits native to defense, see bullet point 1.
4)Shibest seems worthy of praise. Wondering if we have reallovated ST work to focus more on the offense/defense during practice in recent weeks (this season in general - stares at punt returns stats). A big push that was unique to Beamer was the use of starters on special teams - we still do much of that; but the rest of the world also does this too. So that talent gap in that phase has closed significantly. Bradburn hasn't looked himself, maybe an injury. Johnson looks like Johnson, I think he was just punching above his weight from the after the UNC game last year to the Wake game this year.
5)I think players have built that relationship with Fu (Corn maybe less so). Fans, media, etc. Seems more in closing out surrounding practices and such (which is common in this era of secrecy and not wanting other teams to know what we have going on). Does anyone think if you had to weather the storms he has in the entirety of his tenure, you would be jolly to the media that still compares you to a Legend or 2nd guesses every play call that doesn't happen to work. Fu also seems like a quiet, humble, hard working, loyal person (all traits of VT). This also doesn't play out towards a media that encourages many to be boisterous (the Dabo, Naduzzi, etc. of the world). It also sounds like he is much more personable in low key settings more than in front of the bright cameras and 20 mics.
6)The man took an interview, that BU pursued. This also seemed to be a step towards getting people to wake up as to how far behind we are. Also, if there was an offer of doubling of your budget and 50% salary raise, would you not at least listen. The media coverage was lopsided for this whole situation.
