Ben will know a lot more than me. I call it winter grass. Treatment is

similar to crabgrass with pre-emergent but you apply it in the fall(?) instead of the spring. I have a ton of it but have not treated. For me, it grows where other grass doesn’t. Looks OK in winter/spring and dies off at the first sign of heat.
